Marketing Coordinator

To continue to drive company growth, EdgePoint is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support and execute on the firm’s marketing strategy. This position pursues current and new target markets to develop new prospects and qualified leads. The Coordinator is responsible for leveraging multi-channel marketing strategies, which may include digital, social, and print. This position collaborates internally with colleagues to develop appropriate marketing plans by vertical line of business and externally with agency resources to execute marketing tactics. The Coordinator analyzes market trends and adjusts marketing and sales strategies to meet a changing market.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Content Management: Work with colleagues to identify topics for social media, email briefs, newsletters, whitepapers, and other digital collateral. Coordinate the creation, schedule, and sharing of this content via digital, print, and social media.
  • Analytics and reporting: Use Zoho CRM to analyze effectiveness and impact of marketing tactics and provide regular updates and reports to the President and Business Development. Capture results and conduct metrics and ROI analysis to assess success and inform campaign development and adjust tactics, as needed.
  • Company website: Manage and update the company website on a routine basis, driving efforts to improve content, user experience and quality of performance.
  • Client prospecting: Use a variety of sales and marketing tactics to engage prospects and qualify leads that will be provided to internal colleagues who will cultivate relationships.
  • Internal and external collaboration and coordination: Identify and manage third party agency relationships, including coordination of external resources to execute marketing tactics. Coordinates with internal colleagues to develop overall marketing plan and plan by vertical business line. Define, coordinate, and connect the dots on consistent positioning and messaging across the firm internally and externally.
  • Marketing Plan: Partner with senior leadership to develop plan for and execute on end-to-end, multi-pronged marketing campaigns for priority targets. Collaborate with senior executives to understand growth plans for various markets. Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis.

CRITICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Creative aptitude in writing and design
  • Ability to deliver work on time
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Able to work and make good decisions independently
  • Experience in use of marketing channels: email, social, automation
  • Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and ERP/CRM systems

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Management
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing internships
  • Experience in financial industry and/or professional services

Pay will be commensurate with candidate’s background and skills.
